Mary has worked in the mortgage business for 25+ years. She is a recognized expert loan originator for First Time Homebuyer and Refinance programs for VHDA, FHA, VA, RHA, & Conventional loans.

At Benchmark Mortgage, she has made it her mission to enhance her relationships with VHDA, non-profit agencies, and others in affordable housing to pursue the best possible options for her clients. She conducts monthly VHDA classes and works to educate purchasers and realtors on what is available to first time homebuyers (loan programs, grants, credit requirements, etc.

Mary has been the top VHDA loan originator in central Virginia for the past seven years, and has been the Number One VHDA Loan Originator in Virginia for 2007 and 2009.

Mary’s husband, Rock, works as her client care coordinator. He is a member of the Va. Association of Housing Counselors.  As a team, they work with their clients to ensure that they are treated fairly, offered the best loan programs, access to grant money, and the information and direction to ensure successful homeownership.
