I have been in the mortgage business for 22 years and have seen many changes in the market, the loan programs, and home prices.  Today, doing a mortgage loan is more about financial goals and dreams than about just owning a home.  While I work with all clients, my specialty is working with first time homebuyers.  For the past 4 years, I have been number one with Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) in the Central Virginia area and work with a number of non-profit agencies that provide grant funds for first time homebuyers.
