Don grew up in the Harrisonburg area. He graduated from Turner Ashby High School, and James Madison University. He served as an Infantry Officer in the Marine Corps and then returned to James Madison University to get his Masters Degree in Business concentrating in Finance. Don started in the Mortgage Industry in 1983. He has worked every job in a mortgage branch and has a through knowledge of this complicated business. Don is married to his wife Donna and has 2 children- Aaron and Anna.

Don provides mortgage advice to take into account a borrower's long and short term goals including equity reduction and payment objectives. He understands that a mortgage is part of a comprehensive plan for a borrower's finances. The lowest rate or payment on the wrong plan can cause some borrowers all kinds of problems
